North Seeking Continuous Fiber Optics Gyro

The NS C-FOG system uses a high performance 3-Axis Aerospace Fibers Optics sensor which allows the tool to perform North Seeking Azimuth measurements for well inclinations up to 90 deg as well as continuous Azimuth reading while tool is moving.

The Fiber Optics sensor is a very stable technology that does not require periodical calibration as the sensor characteristics do not shift with time resulting in a very reliable system for operation.

The system delivers accurate and reliable information of the wellbore trajec- tory, it requires less north seeking time compared to similar systems and has better mechanical specifications resulting in better shock and vibration resistance.

The system is an All-in-One system where it can be used for inclination Vertical-to-Horizonal wells and can configured to run in Real-time mode for orientation, Memory Drop mode for wellbore trajectory tracing while tripping.
